Well my Baer is completely detail stripped and sitting in a velvet lined box in pieces. Why you might ask? Well I noticed that my hammer was starting to get rust spots on it and well I am not one for rust. So I have decided to send the hammer and trigger out to get a dark finish most likely a spray and bake type of finish to get rid of the rust problem and to completely black out the entire Baer. Now I just have to decide where to send the parts.

I wrote a email to Metaloy about getting their tactikote done to the parts in a semi-gloss black. So I will be looking forward to getting a reply soon.

There are a few places that do Cerakote and the like pretty fast and cheap if that is an option.

Seems like these places have 1000 names for the same spray paint.

there are tons of people that do cerakote or gunkote. both are great. find a reputable place and then see who is the quickest, it is not a difficult process
