Ball mill slide cuts

    I love the ball mill cuts. I’m currently having a custom built, and keep going back and forth with this or serrations for the flat top.

    That looks great, but personally I prefer slide top serrations.

    I'm not a fan personally, but I can appreciate them for the skill and effort to do them. :)

    If I felt the need to do something special on a slide, I'd cut a raised flat-top (think 70s National Match) and serrate it.

    That's after I had a special radius cutter made to re-contour the slide of course. Naw...that sounds like too much work. ;)

    So that is a French Border? Thanks, as I've seen the reference before, but wasn't sure what everyone was talking about.

    I’m a ball mill guy over serrations. STI’s Costa and DVC line are good examples of ball cuts.
