Crappy cell phone pics, poorly lit.
Not so sure I like the new panels. A trifle oversize and don't have the S&W medallion. They'll do for regular shooting I guess. The swivel just completes her look. Gonna call the smith on Monday to see what his backlog is. She needs some trigger work. I've become a trigger snob.

Which model is "Bertha"? I have a S&W model 1917 that was carried by an enlisted aircrewman during WWII.

Bertha is a 1937 Brazilian. According to @rmac she is only about65 years old. He knows more about S&W revolvers than most of us know about eating potato chips.

Cool. Is she .38 or .45?

There is a Smith & Wesson forum at http://smith-wessonforum.com

The guys are friendly and very helpful if you want to learn more about your revolver or S&W in general. The atmosphere there is similar to here on Addicts.

She is a .45ACP. Shoots to point of aim. Made me look like I knew what I was doing shooting at bowling pins. Wasn't very fast, but cleared the table in five. Only complaint, she smacks the knuckle on my second finger. Kinda get annoying after 72 rounds or so.

My 1917 repo also smacked my finger. I bought a tyler T grip adaptor to keep the period look and it solved the problem.
