Looking for the most reliable 1911 38 super officer size 8 round mags for my Les Bear Stinger. I ordered the 10 round extended Wilsons, and they didn't lock back in my Baer and for the price of the mag's I didn't want to modify them plus I prefer flush mag's anyway. Wilson is always my go to but don't see any flush mags on their site. Anyone have experience with any 38 officers mags that can offer some advice. I currently have some Metalform, they are just okay, every now and then the last round in the mag won't feed. Suppose it could be the spring but I have only put thru 1200 rounds thru the mags.

I've had good luck with the Metalform 38 super mags. As Ravenor said above, trip and cobra are what I use with my 45's but I haven't seen anything other than 10 rounders from them.

I like the Mc Cormick mags myself in .38 Super. They have worked well so far.
