Garrett Industries - best of both worlds. Leather lined Kydex. Been using my for 4 years. I don't know what process they use to bond the leather to the Kydex but mine shows no signs of separation.

Del Fatti hands down I have three of them. Finest holsters I’ve ever seen.

TTGunleather, here's my owb snap in sharkskin with belt and double mag pouch to match. I just ordered a owb scabbard for my full sized 1911's. Tim is very responsive and aims to please. As long as I can get what I want from him I have no desire to shop anywhere else. I've read up on him and he's a heck of a guy. 20200706_215107.jpg 20200706_215516.jpg 20200706_215641.jpg 20200710_133111.jpg

I have several holsters from Tim at TT Gunleather. He is great to do business with and always delivers. Great looking rig.

If I can't find a MS VMII, TT Gun leather, gets my money, Tim is great to deal with

Milt sparks vmII for my Dan Wesson. Tucker gun leather isn’t a bad choice either

I've been using Bianchi equipment for about 30+ years, been very, very happy with them. OK, none of it is the latest and newest designs, but then neither am I. I figure if it becomes a classic there IS a reason.

Bought a few kydex holsters off ebay for $5. Marked Fobis and BLACKHAWK!, made in China, so who knows if they really are. I am quite taken with the fit of my railed 1911 in them and the quality, so far anyway. Have not given them the EDC and beating the Bianchi has taken, and while the Bianchi gear may not LOOK cutting edge, it still works, and at a fair and reasonable price. Besides, if I need to use it, I don't expect anyone to be checking out my holster, just the draw.

Milt Sparks for strong side carry. JM Custom or Tenicor for appendix carry.

Switched to a Tenicor Certum 3 for a full sized govt. 1911.

So far, this is the most comfortable kydex holster I've worn, strong-side. Wore it all day for 12+ hours without any issues.

For comparison, I've recently switched from a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Slim and Trex Arms Sidecar.

The one I made for myself!
Adjustable cant angle and torque plate to hold the butt in close. Also with a LOXX positive snap.

The Tenicor Certum and an eBay mag carrier modified with a DCC monoblock clip. Works like a charm.

Warbird to the rescue. A working man's holster. I will post pics in a year to verify it will be used. Outstanding quality from a stand-up individual.

I have one Warbird product, bought on a whim from an Addict. IWB, great production, good working holster. What's the best way to touch base with the maker?

Sam Andrews (andrewscustomleather.com) makes amazing holsters out of every beast you can think of, and he'll customize them to your liking. He's also a really nice guy and welcomes calls from prospective customers. Give him a call, he's great to talk to.

If you like a horizontal shoulder rig check out the Andrews Monarch. He adds a strap that goes around the lower back to keep the rig from flopping around. It works great.
