OK folks, here's the deal. I've entered the IDPA Regionals in California. Going to the infamous sunshine state means dealing with their onerous 10-round magazine rule. While the chances of having an incident involving LEO's is slim, it's still a serious risk, so I've decided to take my Springfield 1911 'Trophy Match' with my S&W 4563TSW as my back-up gun. Since I've entered the ESP division, I only need to make 125PF vs. the 165PF required in CDP. I've developed a load that makes 129PF and the SA was reliable using an 11# spring with it during my initial chronograph testing of the load. None the less, I was wondering if anyone else has developed a good ESP load for the 45ACP.

FYI: my 129PF load: 230gr Bear Creek moly-coated lead, 3.6gr of Win W231, 1.264 OAL

Why did you go ESP with a 1911, was it for the 10 round mag?
