Today, the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds did a fly over of the Philadelphia area to honor those working the front lines of COVID-19.

I happened to live near one of the fly over spots and managed to get a few shots. I'm not the best photographer, and I was using an Olympus TG5 point-and-shoot camera. But, for what's it's worth, here is what I managed to get:

They didn't do any stunts. Just a couple of low altitude flybys. It was still cool to see.

Feel free to share any photos of this event if you have them!

I think it was two weekends ago the Thunderbirds flew over the eight hospitals in Vegas. I think it's awesome these teams are doing this, it provides a very positive impact to the community.

Wow, both teams in one place. I bet that doesn't happen very often.

I live near Pease (ex SAC base) AFB which is now a commercial park. Sig Sauer moved there. It's still a National Guard base with refueling tankers based there. They do an air show most summers and the runway sits alongside Great Bay. I take my boat out there to watch the air shows and take pictures from sea level, lots of times of the tops of the aircraft. My little sister was a Lt. Col. stationed there, before cancer took her.

For the Air Force Academy graduation on the 18th the Thunderbirds did their usual fly over and then did a loop up north to Ft. Collins and then back down south to the Springs to honor the same groups. Unfortunately the weather turned to crap on the south end of the Denver metro area where I live-low ceiling and winds-so all the neighbors and I could hear them but could only see a couple for a few brief seconds as they went around our area.

    Thanks for the great photos!
