i have a Springfield RO Elite 10mm and want to have the frontstrap checkered and the frame bobtailed and refinished for a two tone look. I can’t decide if it should be chromed, Ceracoated or some other silver wonder finish. Who would you recommend for the work? Any ideas on which finish?

@Steve Owens seems too be the go to Smith for the addicts right now. As far as finish I think any you named would be fine or let Steve recommend something.

If I was going to two-tone a pistol, I'd have the lower hard chromed and the top blued. But that's just me. :)

Take a look at my website for pictures of my work including a couple of two-tone guns, mpcustom.net. As far as finish goes are you wanting rust protection or maximum durability? Cerakote for rust and hard chrome and DLC for durability.
