People are always searching for birth years, thought I could help. 38 super's bring huge money today, I follow the Colt 38 super Commander market closely and the rise over the last year has been incredible

I've never owned a .38 Super though my late best friend, the one whose widow gifted me my favorite 1911, loved them. Prior to his passing he had a few, both Commanders and Government models. Very fun to shoot. Unfortunately he ran into some financial issues in the year leading up to his passing and started selling off most of his collection of various firearms (he had an ffl that expired the year prior to his death). He got good prices on those even 10 years ago.

My dream birth year gun is a S&W .44 mag 4"-don't think that'll ever happen unless I hit the lottery!

I was born in 1956. Never a big Colt fan, but interesting. And I'm also a huge fan of 38 Super. But can't justify that price for a novelty. 22 bids, wonder what it will end up costing.
