I just got my 1st FN (surplus) a couple of months ago and love this thing- the mag safety. It eats every type of ammo I put in it and ask for more, now to get it refinished! So who else likes 'em?

Me, me, me! Also have the FN version. It serves primary duty as the nightstand gun at my house.

I love them, I had an Arcus as my first ever Handgun. It was a Hi-Power clone. I want to add one back at some point, one of my favorite guns.

I don't have one yet, but it's on my list for sure. There's something very appealing and nostalgic about it to me.

I like it! :thumb: There's something so indescribably evocative about a well worn Hi-Power.

I like BHP's but rarely shoot mine. I don't know why, it just isn't one I take to the range very often.

The only picture I have of my BHP right now is with its big brother, both from Novak's.

No 9mm sexier than a Browning Hi Power... I got 4 right now, two for me (a old 60's era blued, and a new MKIII) and two for a custom matched set we'll display at shot show... love 'em. Only gun that come close in my opinion, which sorta borrowed a bit from the HP is the CZ75.

These are all very nice and I wish to have one someday. John, do you get hammer bite from that hi-power? I like those gunner grips on your 1911, very nice.

I did before they modified the hammer. I can still get pinched if I ride my hand too high, but it isn't too bad. I think if I was having another BHP built I'd go with the C&S ring style hammer on the first page.

I have the C&S no bite hammer on my BHP in the picture above even though its not visible. No chance of bite with it installed.

    ETA pic of the hammer

I don't have a Hi Power right now and I really miss the last one I had. I hope to get one some time next year. The Hi Power is the king of the 9mm's.

I have the C&S ring hammer on mine, it cures the hammer bite.
