I just finished this one this evening.

All PSA except for the RRA (unmarked) rear sight rail. I have no more than $350 in this rifle. It is a Freedom 16” mid length; I have a couple of other Freedoms (a 16” and a 10.5”) that are good shooters so I suspect this one will be as well.

I remember back in December 2012 I paid almost $350 for a BCG right after the Newtown shooting.

That is pretty cheap for a complete AR-15 and it doesn't look bad either. I have seen where Bushmaster prices were getting down to the Low $600.00 range and than learned the Bushmaster other old is no longer and the old stuff is better.

I recently took a Part mix master gun in trade and it looks like I am gonna to come up with a game plan to make it a working gun.

Windham Weaponry is the old Bushmaster.

KS how do you like that rear sight rail? I took a Ruger AR556 in as part of a trade and I'm debating leaving it as a lightweight carbine or turning it into a dedicated .22.

awp I do like it. This one came on an RRA Tactical Entry model that I bought years ago that eventually ended up with a full float tube and a scope.

I can’t say that there is any advantage to having the rail on it but I like the looks of it and the A2 style rear sight.

Thanks! I have a low power variable I can mount (I need the magnification) but it's light and handy with just irons...
