I purchased on GunBroker, so really do not have a receipt.
The GB invoice or order page should count as proof of purchase & purchase date. Maybe print one of those out or save a PDF using the 'print' function on your computer.

Congrats on the purchase, I hear those are excellent 1911s!

I guess they don't keep an active registration.
You should have an email from GunBroker for winning the Auction, even if it's a Buy It Now.
You should be able to find the order/auction details in your account. Can print a copy to keep with the pistol packaging. Also contact the FFL you got it from, I'm sure they can just email you an invoice. Since they have to have something for their books and account for the firearms that go through there. Doing this sooner than later would be best. If anything, they might want your name to show on the receipt with the pistol serial to show you are the original owner. Hopefully you got it new if you want the warranty.


In the manual, it does have this page. So if you do send it in, they need this info. Was page 15 of their general manual. Can be found on their website.
