Dude totally took advantage of me and made me do it! :)

    Just kiddin'
Did a lil horsetradin' with him. Nice easy transaction. I hope he's as happy with his new toy as I am with mine.

You all remember the Nighthawk Bull Commander sale thread he had?

Well I hadn't stopped liking that gun since he posted it. So now it's mine mine mine...:)

I did swap some other NH grips I had onto it though. I think I like these more. They match the Gray Cera-Kote better.

Tyler was easy to deal with and a perfect gent throughout.
On the gun the only thing I'm not sure of is the short trigger. May have to swap it for a medium length one so it fits me better?

Very nice! You’re gonna love that Armstrong treatment, if you like a pistol that bites back (gripwise) - best one out there IMO.

Gonna shoot it tomorrow. For carry and concealment I'm not sure I like magwell guns as every lil bit shorter helps.
May have to see if NH can make me a regular MSH with same pattern on it and then Perma-Kote it to match.
For now I'm gonna just shoot it and carry it.
But as with most 1911s they get tweaked a bit with time.

Congrats, I've eyeballed that gun more than once. Tyler is a pleasure to deal with. I made my second purchases from him this week.

364 rounds thru the tube this morning. Lubed it once before starting and didn't need any more throughout the session.
200FMJs and 164rnds of various JHPs.
Not one single hiccup. Gun ran like a machine from several different positions and both hands.
    Confidence inspiring 'tis.

Shot 100rnds of Golden Sabers which are sealed on both ends. After shooting them the sealant left neat little primer circles on the table.
