    Well I hope so, but I guess you never know, especially in a state like Connecticut.

    It will never happen. Because it would open up auto manufacturers to suits for the actions of drunk drivers and big pharma to suits by the families of people who OD while using drugs not prescribed to them at the time of their death.

    The list could go on forever and lawful commerce would pretty much cease. Somebody hangs themselves? Sue the rope maker...

    That's a good thing. They do plan on appealing though, from what I've read.

    Of course they will. They don't care that it is not the manufacturers fault! That's why we need these judges with sense to keep stopping it. They see it as well just keep suing and filing lawsuits until we get somewhere, that's what they do. It's a never ending relentless attack on our rights. When this one is over they'll find another thing to go after!
