I was hoping to see an update on the EMF Hartford model. If I have the timing right the model BAC has should have been produced back when C.O. Arms was producing these for EMF, and at the moment there is the possibility that I can pick up the C.O. Arms version of that same pistol for just over four bills and that has my interest peaked.

My understanding is that these pistols used Caspian slides and frames, if that is the case and build quality isn't wretched I was thinking that one (or two) of these might make for an interesting piece/s.

Have you had the opportunity to shoot the EMF yet BAC?

I still haven't taken it to the range. I'll tell you what, it will go to the range this weekend.

Yes, CO Arms did build mine, which may not be a good thing.

It's easy to do. In my modest collection sits a 7.62 NATO bolt action that has, literally, never been shot in the 19 years that I have owned it. It just never seems to actually make it to the range with the other guns.

The EMF isn't alone. I have several non-1911 autos and revolvers I've been meaning to get to the range.

Unbelievable! A monumental task, well done Brian :thumb: I can only add 1 thing that has recently been changed on the Wilson Supergrade. I ordered a Classic Supergrade with all bells and whistles in mid-March this year. The new finish for this pistol, or at least the one I ordered comes with a stainless frame and a Turnbull charcoal blue semi mirror polished finish on the slide. From what the WCR said in a thread, all the new ones will have this Turnbull charcoal blueing on the slide. Just a new info tip as you mentioned that would be your only complaint.. is that the finish should be upgraded on a 5k pistol! You now have your wish and It looks fantastic. I'll post a few pics when it gets home. I have it ordered thru George at Gunslingers. Should be done maybe by the end of the year as I ordered several options being my last 1911. Thanks for your time and hard work on the Guide....well done Regards, Will G.
