That’s what we called today’s match.
30° and dropping, wind 30mph out of the north, blowing snow....

    Good times!

8 of us showed up. 3 1911’s, one 2011, the rest godless polymer things
    .38 Super!

My local range is done with IDPA until probably April.

I was told they may do a Frozen Fingers match in March, though.

I still try to get out and shoot when I can. Gotta stay sharp. I've also been trying to dry fire at least a few times a week.

I'm in Michigan, by the way.

Was -6 this hit a high of about 8 above...but it is Jan in South Dakota!!! There is an indoor range up in Sioux Falls, does the trick but would rather be outside..

Got to give you Yankees A+ for effort  I just stayed in watching Hop a long Cassidy Movies today. Being raised in the Tropics made my blood thin. Living in Ohio during the 1970s gave me all the snow & ice I needed for a lifetime.

I shot High Power Comp for years in Nov, Dec, & Jan here in the Mountains. Wore a leather jacket & warmed my fingers on the Gas tube LOL.

Keep up the good work Boys, someone has to keep those 1911s warm. I wonder how the plastic guns did in the cold. Did any of them crack? :p

Although not as bad as last weekend, you’re still my hero gps man! I stuck to the indoor range today.
