I purchased a Canik Rival last year and really like it, easy to shoot and excellent trigger. I became aware that Canik and a couple of other companies make a brass back strap for this pistol. The backstrap adds approximately 3 ounces to the weight of the pistol. There are also brass magwells for this model. The idea I assume is to reduce the recoil. My Rival is a range gun only, any point to adding one of these to my Rival?
Thoughts and experiences appreciated.
Thanks
