    @Dangerous Brian

    I want to know if they feel as good as they look? Do you carry that rig AIWB? Does the handle tuck in if you carry aiwb? Would really like to see a pic concealed and one not to see the difference. I have bought one leather straight drop that is terrible as far as the grip printing. I love the vedder lt tuck and jmcustom 2.0. BUT ALL THIS LEATHER IS FREAKING ME OUT. I feel the 1911’s should be in leather.

    Thanks.

    Is anyone using a flap holster in the woods? I didn’t go thru all 70+ pages....

    The SME is the most comfortable AIWB that I have. That doesn't mean it is really all that comfortable though, more like it is decently tolerable. That position is excellent for hiding the gun, and it does make for a quick draw.

    I always take leather over kydex with my metal guns, but that's just me. And yes the wing does helps to tuck the butt in, and yes I like to have the reverse cant on this type of holster (especially for the longer barreled guns). The SME has a 10 degree reverse cant I think. These are all pretty new still and I am still experimenting, but I am pleased to have added some very good leather AIWB options to my gunleather stash.

    Thanks for the response. If you need any help figuring it out I would be happy to purchase one from you. That is a sweet collection of leather you have. I have some MS on order that I am waiting patiently for. I might as well get on the 5 shot train.

    Thanks again.

    Can you post up some more angles of the 442 pocket carry? What brand pants are those?

    1791 gun leather, option to add optics if I so choose, extremely thick leather and holds very snug to the body and for less than 100.00 for the entire rig is a steal IMO.

    Sig P229 Legion in 357sig (only ammo i can buy with out getting crushed) in a little MS VM2. Holster is great when you lug around a mini boat anchor.

    Just got the word from the boys in Boise that 2 criterion’s are on the way.

    This is one I have not seen posted. Many years ago I was a CZ enthusiast but leather was scarce for CZ guns. I came across Eric Larsen on the CZ forum. He was a CZ guy and started making holsters for fellow CZers.
    About 10 years ago I ordered this Commander holster from him. Nicely made, very comfortable 4 o'clock carry, easy on and off with single offset metal belt clip, reinforced mouth, tuckable option and retention screw. This would be a minimalist holster, as thin as you get without going Kydex. Might not be best for a heavy 5" Government but carries very nice with light weight commanders.

    Oh wow. I like that! I wonder how it would work out with a steel commander? I've been on a lite tuck kick for the last year or so just so I can tuck my shirt in.

    This holster carries my DW Valor commanders very nicely. The 1 1/2" steel clip holds the holster tight on my 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" belts. I realize most 1911 folks prefer holsters with two attachments for their all steel guns. Some of these IWB leather holsters that other folks like have too much extra leather are bulky to me. This one you don't need to add 2" to you pant's size. Looks like he still makes this model, Pro TL I think.
