After trying appendix carry for 4 years on and off, I went back to strong side carry.

For me, it's more comfortable to carry a 5" govt. 1911 all day, everyday.

Back to the good ole Milt Sparks SS2, and a Milt Sparks S-4C mag pouch I picked up from a member here.

Here's an old picture of my 70 series Colt in a SS2.

I also like the Galco Royal Guard, and it was very comfortable, but I wished they used "pull the dot" snaps for their belt loops. This one was for my Langdon M9:

Today was one of those days where I carried 2 guns.

Errands to run on my only day off this week....one of them involved a situation where it was best that I left the main gun locked in car...parking garage close to security booth. Kept the 442 in pocket, though.

Rest of day the main gun was IWB.

I’ve lost a little weight, it seems. I’ve been able to carry this, instead of just my jframe in a friction holster. This is a TT Gunleather with elephant trim and loops. It’s very nice. The firearm is a Glock 27 w/180 grain Winchester Ranger Bonded. Someday, when I know I won’t be going back to LE, I might move to one of my 1911’s.

My P9 Kahr is definitely a hostage taker head shot to 15 yards without hesitation. I put those targets up every year and haven't thrown one yet. Poly barrel and solid sights.

Nice! So you’re saying I need more training, haha. I won’t argue with you there! I’m planning some more classes for 2021. FDECF889-C796-4E89-8D19-21DEBB707B2D.jpeg

My new little friend arrived today and it’s new nest was waiting. Southern Trapper for a railed commander and of course my initials on it lol. 6316AE49-7BF3-453A-9091-DBA12E8C8C00.jpeg
