Early STI DVC 2011 40S&W in Hard Chrome with upgrades from Carter Custom Weaponry. I don’t have the original build sheet, but CCW always installed their own fire control parts and was highly regarded for their craftsmanship and tuning ability. Ross Carter was a well known Master pistolsmith who built custom guns for a number of champion shooters in the ‘80s and ‘90s. He was badly injured around 2002 and I don’t think he worked again after that. His guns are highly prized and rarely come on the market. His work is superb, and you can see examples of his guns in these pictures from his old website. http://www.cartercustom.com Features include fully supported and ramped bull barrel, skeletonized hammer, adjustable competition trigger, ambi thumb safeties, oversized mag release, fully adjustable rear sight, ball milled end cuts, beveled slide release channel and no front cocking serrations. The hard chrome finish is matte on the sides and finely bead blasted on the top of slide. The rear of the MSH is checkered, the frame has a high grip undercut and the front of the trigger guard is checkered. All angled edges have been smoothed. This gun feel fantastic in your hand, like it was part of you. Comes with original box, Owners Manual and one 140mm 17 round magazine with extended bumper. I don’t know the round count, but the gun is in excellent condition overall. $1975 Now $1875 shipped and insured in CONUS.
