Caspian commander 1911 in .45 ACP by George Madore

I normally list my guns on Saturday, but I have the day off and would like to get this one shipped out so the new owner can have it before Christmas. This is the last gun I will be selling at my end of the year purge. This is a commander 1911 chambered in .45 ACP by legendary gunsmith George Madore. The slide to frame fit is extremely tight —there is no side to side or up and down play whatsoever. It features a hard fit match grade Barsto barrel, a low mount Bomar style rear sight, unique Madore hand checkering, hand fit beavertail, and lowered and flared ejection port. I will include a set of hand checkered $250 cocobolo grips by Jon Aho (High Figure) and one Wilson Combat magazine. It’s a highly customized 1911 made by a legend…just for all you commander guys (@BattlebornNV). If I were keeping her I might reblue the slide. This gun was clearly made by George to be a carry workhorse and not a safe queen.
