    Guys.

Newbie and know that GunBroker isn't always a reliable indicator of current market pricing. I have the chance to pick up a 1975 nm I first fired when I was 14. Not interested in robbing a widow, just looking for advice from the experts on the value. Might come with original paperwork and box. I would assume NRA 100% but haven't seen it in 43 years. Thank you in advance for any input.

In similar situations I have looked at completed sales on Gunbroker, a national market, and taken about 20% off the price something sold for as a realistic "local" sale price. Seems to be fair for all parties. If the widow takes it to a a gun store it would probably be 40-50% off that price. In 1975 that probably sold for around $250. Google $250 in 1975 money as see what it is equivalent to in 2018 $.
