I've only taken it out once, and haven't done any comparisons. So I can't really give much feed back. I need to do a comparison with my other C2 or P and see how it does.

I no longer own any metal frame lowered 2011's.

Thanks for the response. I’d love to hear how it compares to your other C2 and P next time you go out.

That does look pretty awesome, I'm trying to decide between this grip or the Extreme shooters dragon scale grip.
Tough decision but will share my thoughts: my buddy has the old DVC P (version before the XC) with dragon scales and it does feel pretty good. But the texture on the Cheely is really tacky/grippy and iirc two very different price points.

And that can also depend on how aggressive you get your Cheely grip.

Another issue is weight. You add a few ounces with an aluminum grip, now you're adding a few more with and optic, 18 rounds of ammo, maybe a wider ambi., gas peddle or wider slide stop, light, etc. All that weight starts to add-up. Range gun, fine. EDC?

I can feel the weight difference with my aluminum grip C2, vs. my stock C2.

I don’t get it. Cheely offers 3 textures.

Who mentioned EDC and what’s your point?

Ok great. You’re comparing 2 different types of pistols or your tolerance of weight?

I'm just adding more info. to the discussion for others that are interested in this choice.

Sorry if you took it as an attack on you.

Been contemplating doing this to my C2. Do you notice a difference how it shoots? Do you own any other 2011’s that run a steel/aluminum grip? If so, what and how does it compare? Thanks for posting. Looks fantastic.
I did go shoot my C2 with Cheely. It is softer than my regular C2. Wasn't as soft as my Prodigy. I haven't tried it against my P, but just from memory, the P is softer.

Ok I get it now - I thought you were directing your reply to me hence my questions and confusion. My apologies.

That's actually good to hear considering other folks have also said that the heavier grip helps with balancing the gun. Not sure I would 'need' the steel version on a carry but would be curious to know how it both shoots and stuffed down my pants.

And I’m not sure I would do it again on a C2. I was trying to make a poor-mans Atlas Ares. I may swap it onto my 4.25” Prodigy which would be more in line with the Ares.

Thanks for the feedback. That may be the way to go. I just put on a P grip on my C2 with a heavy mainspring housing. Gonna try that. If I don’t like it gonna go with the Cheely.

Who has run them? Loves? Hates? I love the polymer gen 2 grips from staccato once they’ve had a good stipple job but I’m very curious about the Cheely grips. They’re basically the same price as buying a 2nd grip and having it stippled. Seems like a lot more for the money.
Check out Phoenix Trinity’s Hero Grip. It’s aluminum and made specifically for the Staccato frame so the is no fitting required. I love the texture and is my favorite grip better than my Cheely L2. It’s also cheaper at around $425 I believe

Just in case folks are still pondering the want for a Cheely on a Staccato and doing research. Cheely e2 aggressive texture on a Staccato XC. View attachment 1168253
I've got an XC that I'd love to have the Cheely E2 Grip placed on. However, I'm told by Vulcan Machine Works that it can't be placed on my pistol after having it DLC's by Iron Monkey Rifle Works. What magwell is that on your pistol?

Hi, Great pic and exactly what I'm looking for in terms of finish for my grip. Would you mind sharing who did the work in terms of fitting to the gun, etc?

Also, is the grip one of the Cheely factory anodized grips, or did you buy the raw aluminum version and have it DLC coated or Cerakoted yourself? Assuming it's aluminum.

Thanks so much for any advice. I've been waiting for Vulcan to re-open their books for grips, but now that they did, it's not the same grip they've used in the past. I'm not crazy about their new style at all.

Thanks!!

Did you ever get this worked out? I spoke to Isaac at Vulcan this morning and he gave me a greenlight to have a Cheely installed on my Staccato. I'm wondering if I was told wrong...

**Not sure if you got an answer on the magwell question, but that's a Cheely "Tactical" magwell in the pic.

I'll note the Cheely was a bit wider than the factory C2 grip. I did not put calipers on them but could tell when shooting them side-by-side
