    Hi folks,

I stumbled on Chiseled Face products a few days back, and thought I'd share; I have no affiliation with the company. It's a one man operation out of California that makes small batch aftershave. The scents are unique, clean, and not overpowering. Why do I mention aftershave on a gun forum? Because a few of the offerings have hints of leather and gun powder. The guy has an intuitive web presence, ships via priority mail, and offers sample sizes. The stuff is great!

A dash of Hoppe’s behind each ear and I’m good.

Actually I just received samples (soap and aftershave) of Ghost Town Barber and Midnight Stag. Ghost Town Barber is without a doubt a keeper in my book- I’ll be ordering full sizes of both shortly. The jury is still out on Midnight Stag. Definitely a strong leather smell, which I don’t mind. I just don’t know that I want to walk around smelling like it all day. Lol

Soap bases make an awesome lather for shaving. The aftershaves aren’t overly strong, but the scent is long lasting. After shaving in the morning, I could still get a whiff of the Midnight Stag into the evening. Quality products, with some interesting scents. I highly recommend them.

The make great stuff. While I usually use Fine’s snakebite, I’ve had chisel face enter the rotation once or twice.

Just out of curiosity, what is this "shaving" thing you speak of?

If only choosing 3, I’d probably go with Ghost Town Barber, Sherlock, and maybe Summer Storm.
    $11.75 for 3 samples, $23 for all 9...
I ended up with 2 samples as I threw them in with an order from Maggard Razors to make the limit for free shipping.

Stirling is becoming a favorite of mine too. Just got an order of Executive Man And Sharp Dressed Man.

I'm the man behind chiseled face, thanks for the mention. I'm a bit of a 1911 man too, so I'm honored to see my site mentioned on a forum dedicated to one of my favorite firearms!

Let me know if there are any questions I can answer.

Ron, welcome to the forum. Do you need a background check to purchase these in Cali? (I kid-I kid):D

I’ve been using a dab of jet fuel behind each ear, for years. For the Man who wants to smell like a “Rich Persons” Corporate Jet...

Hoppe's no 9. Worthless for gun cleaning but an excellent cologne.
