Upset because they weren’t compensated more than what they already getting - 25% discount - they now have severed all good things to say about the firearms they once raved about. It’s not the fact that ACW didn’t make this particular list (though they gave several raving reviews about them). It’s more about the inaccurate, false and complete alteration of reality they continue to spread about the brand.

They delete comments on their channel that tell the truth. Of course they would. It lets them control the narrative. But they can’t delete them here:

First off ACW didn’t send anyone after them. A post was made on the forums by a viewer of their channel that saw their (not recommended) in their titles despite raving reviews in their ACW videos. It was super confusing.

Young Berretta had previously explained how they changed their recommendation because they felt Cabot/ACW “did very little” in exchange for all the reviews they made about their guns. To simplify it….THEY WERE PISSED THAT THEY WERENT GETTING MORE MONEY OFF. News caught wind in the 1911 community and everyone called them out. Because it was an extremely trash thing to do.

So no…ACW didn’t send any goons. People are more than capable of seeing through BS and interpreting things on their own.

They now spread inaccurate information in order to steer people away. If this isn’t an example of a bitter shill channel, I don’t know what is.

The problem with calling them out on here is that topics like this fade and viewers don’t come to outlets like this to get the truth. So what’s the next best thing? Making a video of course! That way it populates just easily in a search as theirs do.

Aside from their taste in grips, I always enjoyed their channel and had several interactions with B9SR over the last couple of years. He seems to have gotten really upset with me when I told him it was unfortunate about his experiences and that I had only ever had good experiences with ACW CS. He then told me he wished me and Nick well, like we were a couple or something. I commented on a video he did a week or so later on a P30 and he ignored me. Petty as heck.
And since he can control the narrative on his YT channel, he can delete any comments he doesn’t agree with.
I will say though, if anyone watches the videos and hears the raving reviews only to see the comments in later videos, it doesn’t really support the “don’t say we didn’t warn you” commentary they are spouting now. Just comes across as really low class.

I think people spend to much time on YouTube gun videos, after all who are these people and what qualifies them to review the products. If I spend time on YouTube, it's for more worthwhile content. I also don't read gun rags.

Can’t speak for anyone else but for me it’s a time filler. I work in an environment that is just loud enough to be annoying so I enjoy listening to these types of videos, even though I’ve found over the years that I agree with fewer and fewer content creators. Sometimes it’s fun to listen to thoughts on a gun I have or am thinking about getting and seeing what they say and compare that to how I feel.
I can certainly understand why someone would skip the content entirely though.

I like to view videos occasionally. When I do, I hope it’s coming from an honest POV. More often than not, I’m finding that not to be the case.

It happens man. When I was a baby gun owner I took these peoples’ words as gospel.
There’s one guy on there (who shall remain nameless) who has been making videos for years and I felt he was the stuff. Then I recently watched a newer video of his and basically called him a shill for his sponsors in the comments. He didn’t like that too much.

I don’t watch Beretta’s videos anymore. They were always light on substance, say compared to a 10-8 performance video, but this debacle exposed them as having extremely poor character. They should be ashamed of their greed, but instead they triple down. Disgusting 🤮

Yeah exactly. Like, I get these companies are sending checks COUGH SIG COUGH but be transparent with what's going on about it. Everyone knows everyone is looking to get paid, so just be straight up about it.

I fully agree with your concern here. I have been wondering the same for a while. They rave about guns in the video and then I see "Not Recommended" in the title. Theres no follow-up on why, it would be understandable if you added a segment later as to why you don't recommend it due to a breakage or failure makes sense, but making a glowing review to then just change the title seems fishy to me.

Joe you're a good youtuber, so of course it bothers you! LOL. Just make a video about all the guns they review and we can watch them instead. (pretty please)

Jrs voice also makes me take my headphones out. But thats not a content issue, just why I don't bother to watch their stuff unless nobody else has a review
