Ithaca lower/Colt slide Shipped February 27 1943
Congrats - looks great!
Took you long enough to post it here.
As I said on the other forums, congratulations you lucky dog!
Thanks I was getting to it, good luck to you, hope your RNG number shows up in an email soon.
Nice!! So is that how it shipped originally, or were the slide/frame mixed at some point.
That’s really cool. Congratulations.

Slides and frames were mixed during rebuilds, the armorers assembled with random parts that worked. I took it to the range yesterday and it shoots as any other 1911 I have, one Kimber Classic, and a Colt Gold Cup National.
What grade is that? Aren't there different choices and prices to these? Looks good. Congrats
I got my email late last week about an order being processed, I am hopeful thats good news. . . . any insight?
Was it an RNG number, or did you give them your CC and FFL info for billing and shipping?
Just a Random Number, no CC info exchanged yet
What was your number?
26xx I can't recall exactly without going back to look at the email
You are in line to receive one or at least an offer, service grade are only being offered and most are mix master but shoot, I had mine at the range yesterday and runs fine, and actually accurate.
I thought they had 3 grades? I am happy to get anything really for the prices they are selling them at
Three grades but only service grade now then field grade and rack grade.
Service Grade $1050. Pistol may exhibit minor pitting and wear on exterior surfaces and friction surfaces. Grips are complete with no cracks. Pistol is in issuable condition. Pistols may contain commercial parts.
Field Grade $950. Pistol may exhibit minor rust, pitting, and wear on exterior surfaces and friction surfaces. Grips are complete with no cracks. Pistol is in issuable condition. Pistols may contain commercial parts.
Rack Grade $850. Pistol will exhibit rust, pitting, and wear on exterior surfaces and friction surfaces. Grips may be incomplete and exhibit cracks. Pistol requires minor work to return to issuable condition but is functional. Pistols may contain commercial parts.
What was your number? Is yours a Colt slide? What frame? Looks good!
I never received a RNG just a phone call on 10/24/18 asking if I wanted a 1911, a luck of the draw, I have literally never won anything except this, an opportunity to spend a $1050.
Very strange haha
Well, good news for me I suppose @greg1147 I called them today (30 days since getting the email) and I am in line to get 'the call' but there are about 800 guns/customers ahead of me so it will be a couple/few weeks yet
