    Hi folks,

I'm looking for thicker cocobolo grips for my Springfield trp. I am looking for full checkering (non double diamond) pattern. I'm thinking of grips similar to the grips on the pro or a les Baer regular cocobolo grips. I will probably end up calling Springfield custom shop, but wanted to see what else is out there. Even though my hands are not large, I have not been digging thin grips lately. I love the prime time front strap checkering... I haven't tried the California illegal G10 grips that were included in the box lol. I'm also interested in seeing pictures of other kinds of cool wood grips.

I *think* Ahrends makes the grips for the Pro models and supplies them to SACS. I could be totally wrong though.

You are correct, sir, and the grips are available from Ahrends, sometimes Brownells, on ebay, and maybe elsewhere. I have those grips on 3 guns.

Google Exotic grips by Esmerelda. She makes some slick handmade grips.

Get a hold of Bob at Cherokee hills grips. Great guy to deal with and a fantastic craftsman. He can hook you up. Calling @Gripwright

Thanks for all the great replies and pictures...I might need a few sets of grips now, seriously! Good stuff! If anyone else has some pictures or sources of great grips feel free to continue to add on to the thread.
