Been contemplating adding a 44 mag to my collection. This gun would be for general blasting and possibly hunting. I would like to add a red dot to it as well. What barrel length should I consider? Is there a significant difference in recoil from the 6 to 8 inch barrels?
Here's my pros for each:
8 inch:
-Less felt recoil
-Best possible ballistics
6inch:
-Less front heavy
-Easier to carry/find holsters
