Haven’t had any good times with Armslist, I’ve been wanting one since I was 14 and I have this ad on many, many sites.

No SP1s, no clones, only the odd person trying to unload a “$3,000 one of a kind custom wonder AR” in an impractical caliber on me.

Or once that amount for a shot out SP1 with a 10 round magazine welded inside the receiver that the dealer brought back from California.

If I was born 10 damn years earlier I could have gotten every gun I’ve ever dreamed of for pennies because they were garbage being tossed.

Dealers just handing out triangular handguards like candy. Saving Private Ryan really screwed up the market, unless you’re a big rich collector World War & Vietnam firearms skyrocketed & never came down.

True that, and the ones that are out there for sale are not worth the $2500 sellers are asking for them for a well used SP1. Colt XM's are just a dream...

XM? A clone you can find all day, problem is no one wants to trade.

Also I’d take an XM16E1 clone, but I’d much prefer a 602 or SP1 without a magazine fence or brass deflector, and an A1 just seems cleaner overall compared to an XM.

Clones can be built, big difference between a clone & Colt...

I’d prefer the SP1 obviously but I have no problems with a clone as long as it’s not some PSA junk or a strange Frankenstein hybrid of modern parts. I really do not want to build, SP1 lowers go for $900 alone and require an SP1 upper or one with the front takedown pin hole drilled larger.
