Colt hawk project

Really wanted to share some pictures of my little colt project i had Bob reeves at nighthawk help me with. I originally listed this colt hawk on the classifieds here. i was going to move on from it, but with the market so soft i decided to make it a little more special. I have always wanted to have a little bit of classy engraving on a 1911. So i got with Bob and though its not something they offer normally he was able to pull some strings and help me out on this one, with some “vip style” engraving. I love what nighthawk does with the colt hawks already so we improved on the slide to frame fit and added a heavy smoked nitride with the engraving. I think it turned out beautifully! bob and his guys did an outstanding job!!!!

Hope you guys enjoy these couple pictures i took, and if you guys have done anymore work outside the normal colt hawk work post some pictures would love to see them!!!!
