From what I understand there are 4 versions of this pistol.
#1- actual USMC issue
#2- decommissioned USMC "X" Pistol
#3- Colt custom shop
#4- This pistol, which is exactly the same as the USMC version but made for the civilian market.
I'm sure there are members here who know much more than I do about this gun and I welcome any input especially if I am wrong about any of the above points.
I acquired this pistol locally from the second owner and it was sold new by my local FFL. I don't believe it has seen heavy usage based on the lack of wear on friction areas. I bought it, cleaned it and shot a few mags. It was accurate and had no functional issues. I'm happy to answer any questions I can and provide additional pictures. Price includes shipping and insurance from my FFL to yours. Prefer Certified Check or USPS money order.

Pistol only, no box etc.

There is actually a #4.1 which is the same as #4 but with a different finish. The 4.1 is cerakoted in FDE. Also could say there is a #1.1 also cerakoted and issued.

Yours is IMO the more desirable finish under #4.

Great price and someone should buy quickly before I decide I need a 2nd one. ;)

Is there a mark behind the trigger - left side from the slide stop/reassembly? I see it in 1 pic but not another.
Very light mark, I'll get another pic.
Pm sent. A request for a FaceTime to see the gun

As a boomer I am somewhat technologically incompetent. However my wife can help me with it when she gets home about 5:30.

FWIW, Eastwood is 100% G2G, my recent Colt purchase from him was handled perfectly, and easily as nice as he said it was.

Still available at this time.
Awesome gun at a great price. This is the more desirable version #4 finish in my opinion.

These are great Colt 1911s. This is the Decobond PVD coated model, the cerakote model sure was awfully ugly.

These are great guns! I've recorded more than 20 variations over the years, Colt has released these in a whole bunch of different finishes, colors and of course, the "USMC" vs. "M45A1" roll mark. This variation is the standard production line version, which with the exception of the roll mark is identical to the last batch received by the Marine Corp. I agree with a previous poster that this is the more desirable finish from a functional standpoint, the Decobond is way more durable than the Cerakote on these. Around this serial number it started shipping with one black Wilson Combat mag, and one silver, so it doesn't surprise me to see this one pictured with the silver mag.
