I always hated the rear sight on the XS guns. I think C-More was the source of these and the sight cut fit nothing else (Heinie did make a replacement for a while. He dropped it long ago).
On the other hand, the grip safety on these was very effective. I think Caspian made it and I called it a "dorsal fin" safety, because of the odd orientation of the "speed bump" thereon. I've never known of anyone who had any issues with depressing it.
