Due to a number of life situations I am strongly considering consolidating my collection and calibers. I just do not have the time to reload or shoot as much as I used to or like to. In addition, the spouse is still amicable to my hobbies but we have goals of going overseas for work and starting a family. Because of these things I am considering going to 9mm as my caliber and getting rid of a lot of superfluous toys. I will be left with a nice, customized 9mm/ .38 super Colt, a DW Guardian, and a SA EMP. I will still have a Glock 19 and my SA MC OP in .45 as well. That means I will be selling the rest of my .45s, including my GC No Name and SA Compact, in addition to all the long guns and guitar stuff I have for sale at the moment. The problem is I really like those things, but the logical side says use that money elsewhere (like to finish off the student loans). My main question is this: To those of you who have found yourself in these situations, did you regret consolidating your collection to a few nice things and being purposeful in your training and reloading or do you wish you would have kept your other stuff in the long run?
