No.....not really, Infinity has had it for years
That would be why I don't know about it. Other than looking at pictures I haven't done much research into infinity as its way out of my price range.

Does anyone else do it? How does it work?

If I'm not mistaken it would not only change the breechface dimensions but the location of the firing pin and the extractor.

The Infinity breachface is held in with a hollowed out screw that the firing pin goes through. It's popular (or was) with the competition crowd who shoots hundreds and hundreds of thousands of rounds through a pistol. Not sure it wouldn't be cheaper to just buy a regular 9mm slide and have it fitted, but I'm just guessing here.

So to answer your question the answer is probably not.

The breach face it going to be roughly 11.4mm versus the 10mm of the .40 round. It will probably not eject.

Some people get away with a .40 (10mm) breech face to 9mm but it’s not 100% reliable.
