Coonan 357, yes but which one? 'A' or 'B'?

Yes, definitely a Model A, and that barrel is complete vaporware. It is irreplaceable for all intents and purposes.

I am a long time fan of the Coonan pistols. This is an example I might not shoot.

With that said however…
The finest Coonan pistols made were the last ones, the Coonan Classic. And since the company is absolutely gone (and I would be shocked if they EVER return) the market for the Coonan Classic has gone nutty.

This Model A you show is not entirely original with that Millett rear sight, and unless you have the original box then collectors may not pay a premium to get that Model A.

That right there might be a good argument for shooting the wheels off it — because Coonan .357’s are a whole helluva lot of fun.
