I had a newer generation Coonan years ago. Beautiful 2 tone. Front sight flew off on the 3rd mag. Coonan fixed it, but I didnt shoot it much after that. Coonan is out of business again so keep that in mind. If it ever needs parts or work....good luck.

It was a niche gun for me. Something different and unusual and the interest wore off pretty quick. I eventually sold it or traded it off...I think for a custom rifle. Neat pistols, worth owning and playing with if you have the means and availability.
 
This is what I was alluding too. Being out of production makes sourcing parts/accessories expensive and difficult. I bought a Classic in 2009 or 10, and parts were already hard to get. Just became too much of a hassle to me. Wanted to try a Desert Eagle in 357 but never did.
