Took the "Correction Target" to the range today. Results from 35 feet:

I'm having a problem with my glasses and my contacts so I have created a "Corrected Correction Target":

I need one like that with "Can't See" all the way around.

    ROFL!

At a class yesterday, I was fortunate to meet a mature couple who owns an optometry shop in a nearby township. I'm going to pay them a visit in the next few months, I think. I recently got some decent prescription shooting glasses, but I'd like something more lightweight.

I'm new to the shooting world, but as I understand it, there are some very specific shooting-related vision-correction issues, and that it's best often to seek out those who specialize and cater to our crowd. I'll give an "AAR," after my visit.

I always find it interesting how much of shooting is just discipline.

When teaching someone, sometimes all it takes is, "Breathe. Slow down. Focus on the front sight. Smooth trigger press." And then bam, they suddenly get a good group.

Being an expert is just mastering the basics, as they say.

And I laughed at your corrected corrected target!

Funny how every time I tell someone to " press the trigger " they get this weird look on their face and say you mean pull ???
I reply with " no.. press slowly and smoothly"..... :thumb:
