I honestly don't remember placing an order for another set of Craig Spegel Hi-Power grips especially when I didn't specify which wood. But, Craig called the other day and for $70.00 I received a pair of beautiful checkered dark cocobolo grips. :cigar:

Who can say? Craig is turning 63 in a few days and he has been doing grips for over 45 years. If you think about it, the materials aren't that much and Craig can probably whip out a set of 1911 grips on muscle memory alone. Love his grips, especially the High Powers!

Just about all my 1911’s wear them, paid a bit more than $70 though, cycling through them now - I have 3-5 pair I need to sell & waiting on another call from Craig due to having my guns fitted with ambi safeties & magwells.
