    Hello everyone.

    I built (first 1911) a 4.15in 10mm 2011. I built it off of a sti 4.15 extended frame and caspian slide.

I had originally fit a wilson combat hi ride bullet proof grip safety along with some other wilson parts. The wilson extended slide catch tab broke off at my last range session, so im in the process of changing out the wilson parts for others.

My problem is, im looking to put a different grip safety on to replace the wilson hi ride. I ended filing too much of of the center section of the grip safety and exposed the chanel for the hammer strut.
I used the wilson 402 fitting jig on my sti frame. Did I screw myself over and can only use the wilson grip safety or can I still fit a egw or ed brown. Im looking for the highest ride grip safety thats not mim.

    Wilson is your best option.
