Well, I have been working on this off and on for awhile now. Was not a rush job, and I fit several other small to larger projects in between, but this one is finally completed. Test fire before the bead blasting and 600 grit flat polishing went very well, and I will be firing a few more rounds out of it today after it is oiled. Then tear down for final clean up and assemble.. So, Here is the Build List which is a little long lol.

    FS SS VALOR:

1.) John Harrison Gunsmith fit sear
2.) WC Ultralight flat match grade trigger
    3.) EGW oversize Ejector SS
4.) EGW fitted, thinned and blended. Thumb safety
5.) EGW Angle bore Gunsmith fit bushing
    6.) 17# hammer spring
    7.) C&S light sear spring
8.) Ed Brown 1 piece hardcore magwell

Custom Aesthetic functional and Cosmetic work is as follows:

1.) flat top and arrow serrations
    2.) 3/8" ball cuts
    3.) bevel bottom of slide
4.) VIS cut altered to within factory specs as well as relief cut
5.) 3.5lb TR trigger job (My first experience with this trigger and I like it)
6.) Fit and Blend Ed Brown one piece magwell
    7.) Night hawk style Crescents
8.) blend and round trigger guard and around the mag catch.
    9.) light to medium dehorn
10.) carry bevels front and rear of slide
11.) flush cut and 45 degree crown along with flushing the bushing and recoil cap
    12.) French borders
    13.) marvel cut
14.) Undercut trigger guard a bit more and blend
15.) Fit EGW Ejector and tune
16.) flush rear of frame and slide
    17.) re-blend Grip safety
    18.) Polished Feed Ramp
19.) Nighthawk style flush and countersink slide stop
    20.) 50-70 glass bead blasting
21.) on loan Cherokee hills grips for photo op only.
22.) 600 grit brush polish flats of slide.
    23.) Live round cut..

I think that is it lol: So I will follow in the comments with some photos.

@cghelton, hadn't seen ya around of late, thought I'd see if your still kicking ;)

After I get a little better at this smith work, I intend on learning how to use this exceptional camera lmbo... I can just not get the hang of it... And man SS seems awful tough. Hard to show the flat polish in relationship to the whole pistol.. Man, that looks great! It really does. That trigger guard work is sweet. And the business end of the slide/barrel/bushing is excellent.

    Nice work.

Thank you for the compliments gentlemen, a ton of work into this one. I know it's just a factory gun.. But, the upgrades did wonders for the gun imo... Definitely a great trigger, accuracy improved a bunch as well. A lot of effort into this one..

In the language of Harry Potter world... your work is "BRILLIANT"!!!!!

Makes me think that I should replace all the premium woodworking shop equipment I sold, for a small mill...I think I would enjoy making some chips vs. wood chips. :)

Well take my advice if your thinking smaller mill at least go medium. The first one I had was a royal PITA It worked for about 6-8 pistols and I couldn't take it anymore.. Too many limitations. I ended up getting a grizzly model .G0704 which is near perfect size for smaller.

Thank you sir, I appreciate your compliments... I'm working on it.. My photo taking has got to improve though. Without being able to actually make out the polished flats on the slide is really bugging me lol..

Thank You Doc, I am definitely learning a lot more than just the cosmetics as well. With the last 3 pistols I think I have covered nearly 1/2 of the issues one could face with a 1911.. And with some study and direction from others over come and fix the issues.. So, it's definitely something you just keep learning.
