A local gun shop has a brand new cz 1911a1 for 625. Seems like a great price for a cz. If I did buy it would it be worth shooting or will it go up in value since it was only made for 2 years.

Yeah, won't be much on the open market as it doesn't mean much to many. But some who have this say it's a great quality basic 1911. And, it's known enough in 1911 circles that you could probably sell it off someplace like here if it remains in good shape.

Jump on it. I have one. It's a great pistol. Paid 702.00 which was considered an excellent deal 18 months or so ago. Just shoot the snot out of it. I don't forsee (but what do I know) any great increase in collectible value in the near future. It's a damn well made tank of a 1911.

Basically they guy bought it and brought it back in a few hours. Gun has seen no rounds. Buyers remorse I guess. No wear on the slid rails and it looks new
