This is a Caspian Damascus slide on a Caspian titanium frame, Kart barrel with an EGW bushing, The hammer and sear are Berryhill. The GS is an EB. The grips are maple by Tony Cap in Ohio. All the carbon pieces are high polished blued. The frame and slide are untreated. The gun shoots awesome with Stan Chen's ASYM ammo at fifty yards. Enjoy.

That's a berryhill hammer huh? Looks just like the one that Caspian Sells here: http://www.caspianarms.com/Merchant...e_Code=CAL&Product_Code=R51D&Category_Code=R5

    I looked at Dave's site and didn't see a damascus hammer...hmmmm

Got pics of the groups? Show us how it shoots with Stan's ammo. I'd be interested to see how it did at 50 yards.

Joe, thanks for the kind words about the gun, and catching that it is fact a Caspian hammer. The image of a group I shot off hand with ASYM ammo in the Damascus gun. I like to shoot them by hand, called that far out nine. Guess I was off that day.:)

Glad to see how it shot Greg. Did you carborize the rails of the frame since it was ti and the slide is essentially a type of stainless? The grips look very well done and it appears your camera skills have taken a leap. Good job on the shots with gels...

It's not a surface treatment; it's the layering of the steel, from what I understand. I'm not a metallurgist, but it's not an acid etching or something like that.

Lived around the corner from Caspian had an account and have been there many times. The slide, trigger, and hammer are Caspians. They give you the option of picking your own unique serial number that's very cool...

    I can also state with authority that set up wasn't C H E A P...
