I was very lucky and found someone selling a SS Vbob.
I had (as in the other post) been trying to rebuild a collection of Dans I sorely missed.
I got a great deal on a like new VBOB I figured the best thing I could do to stop my lust for the Black VBOB, was to make one look even better.
I like the Duty coat, but not as much as this. I can't make myself put it in the safe.

Just a few shots of it. Hopefully when I have more time I can do better with it.

I've taken better photos, but I was excited to shoot a few.

Now I can keep walking past that $1800 Black Vbob in the case at the local shop, it's beautiful, but irrelevant.

Looks good ! The stainless finish on my VBOB was crap so I had it done in Hard Hat.

That looks great, I am starting to like this ionbond. This forum is nice and everyone seems to get along not like a bunch of grumpy B****'s OTO forum.

Those photos were bothering me. I don't know what I did wrong. But I had to get some clear ones or go nuts. So here they are.

    Forgive my obsessive side >)

The new photos look good. I don't know about you, but I've had trouble photographing the Melonite on my "No Name." Although it's fairly matte, it somehow reflects color more than one would expect. Photos can make it look ash, black, or tan depending on the lighting in the room. It's a dark charcoal color that's been difficult to capture.

    I like that Ash color.
When I add a flats to the situation it goes black. But you can tell it's flat and that's exactly what I wanted.
This fugger is going in a holster. Winter time is back. And I'm back in black >)

Looks really good! I like the complete blackness of it. BTW, awesome grips. I need to splurge and get a pair of those CF VZ.

I'm going to try thinning them down drastically. It's very easy to work with. And kind of forgiving as well.
