Hey yall. I’ve noticed Dan Wesson’s have crept up to Les Baer like money but I had great experience with a Springfield Operator. I’ve never had a TRP because I didn’t like all the tactical bling journaling all over it until the new lineup. Dan Wesson point man 45, TRP Classic Commander and a not optics cut TRP CC are all the same price used at a local shop… I know DW has no MIM but it doesn’t seem like there’s much love for the pointman? Which are you taking if any?

Not owning one of each DW 1911, I don't know the answer. My first hand experience is confined to the Valor, Valor Commander, and Guardian, so any comments I make on others would be purely speculative.

Good luck with that one; they were discontinued in 2018. For a while, you'd occasionally run across them here and there, but were never plentiful. I grabbed mine in 2021, as I recall. But like the Valkyrie CCO, they've since become unobtanium.
