I was wondering exactly which Dan Wesson 1911 models have recently been discontinued.
Was there a list or memo, sorry I missed it.

I'm sensing the Valor lovers have taken a big hit. I liked that model and the V-Bob. I don't understand the logic of not building those.

I've always wanted a stainless valor V-Bob in 9mm, now I'm trying to figure out how to get the money together

Same here I'd like to have a stainless Vbob in 9mm also. Prices are looking a little inflated to me?

This is corporate marketing strategy at it's worst. We all know DW sells a buttload of Valors. There's some Kellogg grad smoking on a Cigar in a corner office somewhwere thinking rebranding the product will give a lift in sales.

Then in two years we will see the return of the Valor... at a higher price.

This probably has a lot to do with it, alright.

My Valor has just been hanging around simply because I haven't shot any .45 lately. I think I'll dig it out along with the Colt and make my next range day .45 only.

Just as I started searching for a decent 1911 around 1500 they discontinued the Valor. Sped up my decision. Just picked up a commander Valor and glad I did.
