Offering a very low count Dan Wesson Specialist, single stack (1911) 9mm for 1195.00. This firearm cost me approx. $2000.00 Slight idiot scratch, see photos, otherwise excellent condition. Shoots like a dream, like all Dan Wesson pistols. It's rails are tight, accuracy is right on. 9mm, not .45. I am selling most of my collection. Thank you for looking! Original Box and Manual. $35 Fed Ex Shipping
Thank you. Lungs are just paying me back for heavy smoking until I was 36, heavy drinking, and a lot of third world travel in my 40's and 50's. Could be worse, I'm content but I don't want to stick my two grown daughters with firearms. Cheers, stay well, EVERYONE.
GLWS... wish I could help.
Consider keeping one in inventory for protection!?!?
If you're lungs are not to sensitive, maybe shoot outside, have a fan at your back to keep fumes away from you. All the best.
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I honestly appreciate it. In all honesty, I'm worn out. With lung infection, I get to stay home with no company. I have great friends who call me on the phone and vice versa. Even my pulmonologist dont meet in person, but by "teledoc". I get my CT and PT scans by narrow appointments. My goal is to sell off at just below reasonable prices my collection. Thank you for writing. Upon reading this sounds like I'm a "sad sack". Nope, I have lived an extraordinary life most would ever dream of. Thanks for writing. Philip
Indeed, loves to shoot. I'm on the board of my favorite club. We have improved air flow, etc, to the tune of a lot of money. That said, I'll shoot A LITTLE but I'd really like to know what danger I'm in.
Doing okay, thank you for asking. I know I'm not the only one here with "issues". I've heard from a few of you with spouses who have endured worse. Biggest deal is not sleeping so I occupy myself with marathon TV. Right now I'm watching the first season of Hanna. Good but not GREAT like "The Wire". I still have about 8 more firearms to put up, just a little lazy. Thanks again, stay safe, the rest a virus out there and I'm convinced it doesnt know Blue states from Red states. Be well, I'll be back. Philip
To all of you who have sent helpful hints about shooting while ill, and have shared heart felt stories about others, I want to say "Thank you". I'm still here, I read on 1911 Addicts everyday as a voyeur and have purchased from members years gone by. I have more pieces to sell, but even taking good photos is tiring and a pain in the ass. I moved back to PA from AZ after 21 years to care for my mother. After 5 and 1/2 years here, she passed peacefully at age 97 in 2019. I'm not whining. I'm trying to say thank you for being in a forum that is just a nice place to come to each morning. If you have never experienced trying to get rid of a loved one's possessions, I can assure you it's both heartbreaking and hard, like where do I gift this? To this end, I am trying to sell most of my firearms so my two grown daughters don't have to deal with them. (My Kimber 380 ultra is constantly around my belly and my Glock 19 seems to have a mind of it's own and follows me everywhere except NJ, GOD forbid!). I just wanted to sound off a great "Thank you" for this forum.
