Wanna purchase one but don’t know if it’ll work anyone have any experience with them ? Thanks
I have one in a 4" Kimber Pro SLE. Works great!
You mean there's such a beast where you wouldn't have to use a paper clip on the shorter bull barrels like in the ECO?
That's what it does.
What type rod did you get
I just bought one ill let you guys know if it works when it arrives
I don't remember there being a choice. I just bought the one to fit a 4" bull barrel.
Looked at the Dawson web-site. Don't see one listed for a 4" 45acp.
As far as I know only for full length I use them in my STI Bull Barrels
May be discontinued. Nice invention!
They have for Full size regular and Bull barrel ordering one for my STI 1911
This one? https://dawsonprecision.com/guiderod-sti-4-15-bull-barrel-tool-less-by-dawson-precision/
Dawson Tool-Less Guiderod fits factory STI 4.15" models, 9mm only. NOT recommended for 40 S&W or 45 ACP.
They are not caliber specific.
If they have the proper length it will work.
Like most of Dawson's stuff it is well thought out and well made FWIW
I just wanna tell you guys. It DOES NOT ! work. I bought one they’re too thick
They work I have one in an STI Edge .40 with Bull Barrel no problem......
Mine's been chugging along with no problems for several years in a 4" bull barrel .45.
They’re meant for STI’s i even called dawson when i returned it he said they are only meant for STI’s
This is right off their website, made for a single stack...
Says it works for the SA TRP.
