Discovered that a year ago when I was doing an analysis of the company, as a consideration to an investment portfolio. I naturally selected another company, as it's always bad business to alienate a large segment of your target market. I used to wear Levi's jeans exclusively growing up in the 70's, of course never again. I bet a lot of gun owners USED to wear Levis. I bring this up today because their quarterly numbers are out and their stock is tanking.
Much like Nike, that "flipped the bird" to law enforcement, they are on the crap pile now.

I just wanted to get this off my chest. LOL!

And this: “For the large majority of their jeans, Levi's are not made in the USA. More than 99% of their jeans are made in countries like China, Japan, Italy, and others. Levi's does have a single collection of “Made in the USA” 501 jeans, sourced from a small denim mill called White Oak in Greensboro, NC.“

And you can tell by the declining quality.

Yep, I refuse to wear anything made by them. All my denim needs are fulfilled by Wrangler.

Yes. I gave my Levi's to Goodwill and bought more Wranglers. I like Wrangler's new styles better too.

I wonder how many CEO's of toilet paper companies are anti-gun
    or automobile company CEO's
    or smart phone company CEO's
    or internet company CEO's
    or oil company CEO's
or clothing company CEO's in general
or even cheese making company CEO's
or anything you have and use everyday, product or service company CEO's

Might as well throw in Republican or Democrat CEO's into the mix

They began donating to Hangun control in the early 80's and I haven't bought any since. Individuals have a right to their own beliefs but when a company plots against my interests, they lose me as a customer.

This was made aware to one of the other gun forums I frequent and they all yelled about a boycott of Levi due to their anti gun stance. Maybe it's working?

I own no Levi items and haven't for years.

I also quit buying levis in the 80s after they came out supporting handgun control. Haven't bought anything by them since. Won't.

I don't care if any individual is anti-gun. When the company comes out with an anti-gun stance, I move on to another company.

You hit the nail on the head. I believe that everyone is entitled to their personal opinion and that would never sway where I shop, but when they use the company to virtue signal I take it as a sign that they would rather I spend my dollars elsewhere.

    Yes.
Not to mention the denim they use is paper thin. Levi's I wore when I was a kid where a heavier denim, my hand me downs lasted forever. I stopped wearing Levi's when they started falling apart before wearing out.

Yes, well known gun haters for years. Levi Strauss is the Ben n' Jerry's of the denim world. Would not touch their products with ten foot pole.
Also while on the subject, these two stick in my craw as well: Bank of America and CitiBank. I had accounts with Bank of America for years until I read their no business policy with companies that manufacture or sell firearms and supplies. I dropped them like a hot potato.

Yeah I've known this for a few years. Haven't bought any since and got rid of the ones I did have. Just one of the many companies I dont give my money to.

I wrote Levi’s off several years ago.
I try to spend my money as wisely as I can. I realize that many companies that I purchase products from have CEO’s or other management or boards that lean left but I try to buy from companies that reflect my moral and political leanings as much as possible.
