differences between guncrafter and NHC

if you had to choose between a guncrafter no name and a NHC GRP (not the recon, not really a fan of lights on 1911's maybe one day but not now). something to train with and take classes. to shoot the ever living crap out of and keep going. I want a workhorse NOT a safe queen. which one of these would you get first? I plan on eventually getting both just not right now.

does one lend to heavy/hard use more than the other?

IDPA , USPSA , classes etc
This pistol has been awesome so far . I have a bunch of rounds through it now approx 3k and climbing . So far never a hiccup .
Taking another class with it Monday 👍

Sounds like a job for Guncrafter Hoss (which I do not own)

I actually own both a No Name and GRP but neither has been run hard. No Name feels more solid but I cannot explain why. GRP is my favorite of the two, but I admit it’s mostly based on looks .

Checkering is something to consider. Guncrafter 15 lpi vs Nighthawk 25 lpi.

I don’t think you could go wrong with either of them.

Both should run perfectly - both of mine do!
I've been extremely pleased with Nighthawk....as a product....as a company....build results and shared philosophy.

The GRP makes a great base gun to order with your desired customizations.

I've never had a GunCrafter and probably won't....unless I can gain some additional insight into the company. I have zero doubts they make a rock solid product. High quality...and by reports here on Addicts ....they are solid on customer service.

I’ve owned both with no regrets. Both easy and better shooters than me. Sold my GI but still own a few GRPs. No other reason for selling other than wanting something else. Both great companies to deal with. Boy I helped you a bunch huh!!

I have one of each and honestly I cant pick one over the other....they are both just excellent pistols and fit what your looking for to a tee!
I own a couple of each and either would be an excellent choice.
I own more Guncrafters just because Rob @TRRK Trading keeps offering them in configurations that I can't resist.
I also got a Nighthawk from Rob.

Hard call….,but if both pistols were equally equipped, I’d take the Guncrafter
