Load the magazine, chamber a round, then top off the magazine and put it back in? Here's why I'm asking. I was doing a function test of my extractor, put a round in the slide, make sure it doesn't fall out and ejects out the ejection port. It passed. But I think I noticed today that when the chambered round had a full, topped-off magazine under it, it will be dificult to eject the chambered round. The slide will not easily come back when pulled. When I give it a good yank it moves and the chambered round ejects. However, when the magazine under the chambered round was not topped off, this hard pull to get the slide to go back is not necessary. It just slides right back like butter, and the chambered round ejects. Hope I explained that well enough.
